WHY I ENJOY BLOGGING

I have been tagged by Betty of 'Country Charm' to give five reasons why I blog........

I have been an avid diarist for many years, so blogging was a progressive extension to this, it seemed fun and a sociable activity to be involved in. I enjoy writing about things I feel passionate about and I do enjoy the feed back from readers and of course, its just great to hear from a new visitor.

There are so many Blogs out there, so what attracts us to certain ones, the pictures the owners post, the interesting articles they write, the inspiration their creative talents evoke, well of course, its all of these, but I have since discovered that its the friendships you make with like-minded people that are very important too. Friendships made with people we have never met and possibly never will.

For me, when I sit at my computer and open up my blog, I enter into this lovely neighbourhood that I have become part of. A neighbourhood where all my blogging friends reside. Visiting each respective blog is just like calling in to see a friend, be it to take a tour of their garden, see an aspect of their home, admire little treasurers they have found at a charity shop, enjoy a country walk or a vacation with them or be inspired or instructed with a new craft. Blogging has certainly given me all of this and a lot more too.

It has become one of my favourite pastimes and I thoroughly recommend it as being good therapy too.

Now I am going to tag Joanne of 'A cup of kindness' and Kerrie of 'Colours of the Garden. Lets here a few reasons why you like blogging ladies.

You may well have noticed something new in this posting, it is the first time I have been successful in adding links to other Blogs. For this I have convey my grateful thanks to Joanne for she has been my tutor. I do thank you Joanne, I shall be moving onto the 2nd lesson you sent to me shortly.

Marion,
You so eloquently put into words why we all enjoy blogging.

We are learning to do new things, aren't we? I learned how to add links but haven't learned to link as you've done. Also, how to list the links to the sidebar rather than the bottom of the blog. Oh, well.......

Drew and his Mom are coming today til Saturday so I have much to do....

Take care......

Those are allgreat reasons to blog, but as you say, the best is the friendships we make.
Isn't it fun to learn how to do something new (like link) when you post?
hugs!!

I can't get Kerrie's link to work. Am I doing something wrong?

Marion,
Just received your 'mail'and I'm sorry your trip was cancelled.

I just had to tell you today I learned to link to another post. I'm so excited! Doesn't take much to excite older ladies, does it?

Talk to later. Sorry about your aunt. I only have one left, too.

Thanks for thinking of me Marion. My reasons are very much the same as yours, so I'll be hard pressed to write something original, but I'll try my best. Not sure when I'll get around to it as I have other projects going on at the moment, but will get to it ASAP.
There's always something new to learn, isn't there? And blogging friends are so helpful.
xoxo
