Mount Pilatus

Another day of adventure as we take a mountain excursion by the gondola cablecar to the summit of Mount Pilatus, enjoying superb scenery as we steadily climb 2132 metres above sea level. An impressive panorama of 73 Alpine summits and many lakes can be seen on a perfectly clear day. We we are not so fortunate to have such perfect conditions, but nevertheless, it is a breathtaking experience.

The rugged peeks of Mount Pilatus are shrouded in many myths and legends, some going back as far as the Middle Ages. It is said that in the deep crevices of the craggy cliffs well meaning dragons and spirits once lived!!!! But none of that to-day, we are here to enjoy the beautiful forest walks, and to try out a few new sporting activities. Great fun!!
