VINTAGE HOUSEKEEPING SWAP

What a lovely surprise I had this morning, my vintage housekeeping swap package arrived, prettily tied up with blue ribbons. A big thank you to Samantha (mrspao.blogspot.com) and also to Ms Robyn for arranging this swap for us all.

Samantha, I love the items you sent, how cleaver of you to spot my interests and indulge me accordingly.

Not only do I love old books, but I’m passionate about gardening (well that is next to my dear husband of course), so the vintage gardening book is an excellent choice. The gardening gloves are perfect too! and are beautifully colour co-ordinated with the book cover I thought. They are just what I need. Truly, over the weekend, I’d mentioned to John that I must get myself a new pair, I had holes in the fingers of my old ones, so I’m thrilled! And, what more could a girl ask for after a spot of gardening, than to indulge herself in a deep relaxing bath scented with rose petal bath milk. The card you made, is lovely too, and yes, a good likeness to George. I do thank you!

I’m in the process of packing up my swap to you in return, it will be winging its way to Canterbury before the week is out. Many thanks dear swap partner.

Oh nice to see that you and Sam have participated in that swap Marion! That book looks like a real treasure! Your flowers look lovely too! I have left that vintage housekeeping swap out this time, but I'm already intrigued about what Robyn's next swap idea will be?
