‘AUREVOIR’....... For a little while

I have to go into hospital on Wednesday 28 June for quite invasive surgery, so this will be my last posting for a little while. I should be back home in about two weeks time and then taking life at a gentler pace for several weeks. At least I shall have the summer to convalesce and what better place to retreat to for those long lazy days, than my summer house.

I leave you with a few more summer scenes from my garden, which I know I shall be holding in my heart whilst I am away.

Dear Marion,
as I've said before I wish you all the best for your surgery and I'll keep thinking at you and sending you stength and positive thoughts while you are in the hospital! I'm looking forward to your return and I'll miss you here! Your garden is beautiful, I love the palm trees and the double baskets (I've never seen anything like this before) are fantastic!
Hugs x

A beautiful garden that will be waiting to welcome you back in a couple of weeks. Have you left a really, really long list of instructions for John?...lol I'm sure he loves the garden as much as you do, and will not let one leaf or one flower wilt while you are away.

You know that we'll be thinking of you, praying for you, and looking forward to your full and uneventful recovery.

With warm hugs from a cold country.
Much love always, dear Marion.

Ma'am, I've never been to your blog before, just happening to have stumbled across it when I "googled" "trees through the seasons." But I wish you well with your surgery so that you can hurry back and enjoy your GORGEOUS garden. Praying for your recovery, I am an anonymous passer-by in the United States...
