GARDEN VISIT....
Just checking back to my last posting about Bronclydwr Garden, I discovered I hadn’t included, what I think is my favourite picture. My regular readers will know of my love for architectural plants and this picture just captures the magnificence of plant architecture don't you think. The cordylines in flower are lovely, but what I love the very best are the echiums, the two beautifully pointed plants, Oh! how I would just love to grow these in my garden, I have tried before without success, nevertheless, still full of optimism, I bought another baby echium on Sunday. You can see from this photograph how the garden just overlooks the sea of Cardigan Bay. A magnificent setting.

Marion,
I think this is the lovliest of the lot.
The view of the sea through the gardens is spectacular..
Thanks so much for sharing!
All the photos are just wonderful. What a treasure of a garden. The National Gardens scheme is so wonderful in enabling us to enjoy some "gardens" for a short while.
I have a friend living in Pwllheli (sp?) for a while. I will tell her to wave at you across the water!
Yes, this is truly the best. Such a beautiful setting. I wish I could pronounce the Welsh names (Bronclydwr). So lovely.
I saw the echiums in the botanical gardens in Sydney when I was last there in 2003. Fantastic!
