HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. ~Melody Beattie

Dear Friend Marion,

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver...so the scriptures say and your quote is certainly true....we do have so many innumerable blessings each day that enriches our lives....

Thinking of you and John today and every day.....Love, Betty

Hi Marion,
Just catching up after a hectic few weeks. Love your words of wisdom on this post. Makes a lot of sense. Love your story of time spent with Betty in US and the food for the church luncheon is incredible! Don't they do it beautifully over there.
Thanks for sharing, I love reading your blog, don't feel guilty because you can't always get to write it up. Cheers for now,
Jenny

Words of wisdom indeed. Counting our blessings is very good for the soul. We had a quiet, but very pleasant Thanksgiving, thank you. I hope you did too.
Reading Barbara's comment tells me that you've had an anniversary. I hope it was a wonderful celebration for you and John. Alice and Richard just celebrated 41 years yesterday!
A happy marriage is a true blessing indeed.
