CELEBRATING 60 GLORIOUS YEARS

On 2nd June 1952 my family were watching the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll on our small black & white TV... following the events of the day on our treasured souvenir programme kept safely all those years...

...To 2nd June 2012 - the Queen celebrates with a visit to The Derby races at Epsom.

Congratulations Ma'am.  Long may you reign over us.

Hello Marion, it was lovely to see the Queen's photo...she was so young and beautiful in 1952, and, having seen a bit of the events of today on Barbara's blog, she is still beautiful and looked wonderful in her white hat and suit on the Royal Barge.

Sister Marion,
A wonderful tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth...what a treasure to have the programme...

A joyous weekend for you all but a rather sad one for us....

Love and Prayers,

Marion, today's pageant was awesome, even the rain didn't stop everyone from smiling, waving, and singing! I watched for 3 hours, loved it all, and felt proud to be British!

Long Live Our much-loved Queen.

Hello Marion, Great to honor Her Majesty the Queen. What an accomplishment! An email was going around that showed the Queen with U.S. presidents - 11 presidents over the time there was and is just one Queen. Amazing! Looking forward to hearing more from you in Wales!
Blessings, Beth

Dear Marion exactly last week I found in the belongings of my mother an old special magazine with pictures of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. Through all the years my mother kept this magazine, probably she already then admired the young and beautiful queen who was four years younger. It's indeed amazing to be able to reign 60 years!
Best wishes,
Barbara
