Taking a quiet moment in the day (when young things are still at a festive village "lunch time" gathering, and My Husband is preparing sprouts) to wish you a Happy Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! A little late I suppose by now!! You are already into the day after Christmas while I am writing this. We had a nice time at our daughter's house. We went over the night before Christmas and spent the night so that we could get up in the morning and see our two smallest grandchildren open up their gifts from Santa. They both still believe but I think that soon Madison our 8 year old is going to NOT believe!! We stayed most of today and just got home a bit ago. I hope that you had a great day!! I hope to see you posting more!! Sandy
we just came back from my sisters home and I was happy to find your comment, thank you! I wasn't around here lately because the time before Christmas was very busy. I have just read about the bad weather conditions and about what has happened to your house and I can perfectly understand why you have been down. I'm so sorry for you and I cross my fingers that the rain will stop for a longer period now, so that everything can be fixed properly again!
Now I'm wishing you and John and all your loved ones a very merry Christmas despite the circumstances, happy holidays and all the best for a wonderful new year 2007!
I'll bet those oranges smelled delicious. Thanks for sharing your lovely decorations. I hope you had a wonderful day. We enjoyed our family...as always. I love having them home. It's raining here tonight. Such unusual weather for this time of year. It's rather icy outside...making driving conditions not so good. Blessing to you and thanks too for your friendship dear Marion. xo
Apologies for this belated greeting..it is no less sincere for that.. I hope you enjoyed a blessed Christmas, and I send every good wish to you and your husband for 2007.
Seasons Greetings! I have been blog hopping and came across yours. How I miss the sea and North Wales! I was born and raised on the Wirral and spent many a happy childhood day/holiday in North Wales. I look forward to popping back. All the best Libby
Wishing you and your husband all the best Lady Marion for a blessed New Year. Your photos were lovely and l liked the beamed ceiling. l also wrapped my oranges up with ribbon and cloves for decoration this year- great minds think alike they say-lol ;)
I live in a small Welsh village which is situated in the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park. Its an area of true outstanding natural beauty. We have the Cambrian mountains to the east of us and the coast of Cardigan Bay out to the west. My husband and I moved to Wales from The Cotswolds in England 19 years ago. We bought the old village Police Station, which we have worked tirelessly renovating ever since. You could say its a real labour of love. I have retired after working many years in the travel business, this now leaves me free to pursue the many things in life that I enjoy.
