So fabulous Marion! It must have been great fun walking around the gardens looking at all the different artful scarecrows! Btw how's Christophers Africa journey going? Have you got any news? Hugs Carol xox

Marion, I do hope you are having a wonderful time on your excursion....thank you for the sweet comment on the wonderful rain we received on Saturday, almost 3 inches...every drop appreciated...the thirsty earth and her vegetation are revived....our Lord is so gracious...take care dear friend...Betty

Very creative scarecrows. Actually, they should do it in late summer in the hope that it will protect all the fruit from the birds.

I bet it brought the whole community together with a central talking point. Probably neighbours met for the first time in some cases.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful event with us Marion. How very creative all those people are! I think picture number 8 must be a person...the face looks very real?? The other "real" scarecrow (the blue lady) is looking very nicely dressed :)
It all sounds like great fun.
