YOUR PRAYERS ARE NEEDED....

How quickly and unexpectedly our lives can be turned upside down......
My last posting focussed on recalling the happy times shared with dear friends Betty & Edward during our recent stay with them.

Then, like a bolt out of the blue..... on Wednesday 11 June, I received word from Betty & Edward’s daughter Amy, that Edward had been rushed into hospital with a blood clot in the leg. The last few days have been a blur of anxiety, waiting for the results of procedures done in an attempt to break up the clot. However, it was soon discovered there was more than one.... this resulted in the urgent need to perform four hours of surgery yesterday. Thankfully, skilful surgeons located the clots and removed them.

As those of us who read ‘Country Charm’ will know, Betty is such a caring and devoted Christian and has called upon us blogging friends many times to join her when the power of prayer is needed. Well, I now encourage you to support Betty & Edward with your prayers at this very challenging time...... ‘May it please God that Edward makes a speedy and complete recovery’.

I have been wondering about Edward and how he was doing. Hopefully just great!! You just never know when your life is going to take a turn..that is just the way it is.
Did you receive your package from me yet? Let me know please when you get it. Hopefully all in tact.
